Ivan Krastev is a political scientist, chairman of the Centre for Liberal Strategies, Sofia, and Permanent Fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna (IWM). Krastev has been described by numerous academics, authors, politicians, and journalists as one of the leading European thinkers, a person who always questions conventional wisdom.
