Background
The growing complexity of today’s international security landscape—combined with the increasing frequency of crises and conflicts—often obscures the broader picture. Media coverage tends to focus on daily  (often dramatic) developments, making it difficult to grasp long-term trends and implications.

Drawing on his expertise across a wide range of security issues—including nuclear deterrence, negotiations with Iran, NATO, and Nordic security challenges—Prof. Miller will provide insights into the nature and consequences of current U.S. foreign policy and security priorities.

Speaker
Steven E. Miller is Director of the International Security Program at Harvard University, Editor-in-Chief of the quarterly journalInternational Security, and co-editor of the International Security Program’s book series, Belfer Center Studies in International Security (published by MIT Press).

Format
Moderated conversation, followed by Q&A.
