Evgeny Morozov is an internationally renowned writer, researcher, and intellectual, originally from Belarus, who studies the political and social implications of technology. He is the author of several award-winning books about technology and politics, such as The Net Delusion: The Dark Side of Internet Freedom (2011), To Save Everything, Click Here: The Folly of Technological Solutionism (2013), Freedom as a Service: The New Digital Feudalism and the Future of the City (2022). Morozov’s writings have appeared in various newspapers and magazines around the world, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, The Guardian, The New Yorker, Corriere della Sera, Times Literary Supplement, New Left Review, San Francisco Chronicle, Folha de S.Paulo, and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. Morozov is the producer and the host of the podcasts The Santiago Boys and A Sense of Rebellion, as well as the founder and the publisher of The Syllabus, a knowledge discovery platform.
